Daytona Bound...

Miss Madi and I are playin checkers in the sand!

We arrived in Daytona Friday evening and rented a convertable mustang to cruise around in...and Mark sure did look good in it.... the rest of the week consisted of bachelorette parties, lighthouse visits, nature science center trip, largest Harley Davidson dealership in the world, putt-putt golfing, deep sea fishin, renewing of vows, but most importantly...... sitting on the beach and soakin up the sun and sand with our family! Oh, and don't forget three trips to the Original Krispy Kream shop!

Hurricane Dolly Damage

Mom and Dad survived Hurricane Dolly and all the damage that came along with it. No flood damage in the house but it definitely left lots of water in the streets! Dad wasted no time and put his kayak in for a spin!

Carole's Bachelorette

The three daughter-in-laws took Carole out for her last night of being married for 40 years.. and she was a crazzyyyyyyyyyy one that night!

Madi's Visit

Uncle Mark and Aunt Steph had the pleasure of hangin out with our niece, Madi for the afternoon. She even got to spend the night!!!

Hot Summer Day!

It was time to take the kayak's down to LadyBird Lake... and it was a hot mama that day!

Lubbock Visit-"The Town of many Smells" (according to Marky)

Marky had his first visit to Lubbock this summer. We went for Jarod and Katy's Wedding and it was beautiful. He even got to see the Buddy Holly Museum!

Summer Fun!

Mark and I went camping with Jason and Andrea at Lake Buchanan and slept with the raccoons! We ate better than we normally do... we grilled, went fishin, kayaked for five hours that day and took a dinner cruise that evening. Each night before we went to bed, we had to batten down the hatches so the raccoons wouldn't eat all our food. And hang our trash from the tree!
